  1. What a small world. You live in Los Osos. I was born and raised in SLO. My father, a commercial fisherman, once needed to refuel his boat and asked me if I’d like to join him. I was never more sick than on the trip from Port San Luis to Morro Bay. On that day, Morro Rock was the best thing I ever saw…reaching our destination meant that I could finally get off the boat! I loved living on the Central Coast. Your great pictures bring back memories. I’m really looking forward to reading more of your blog posts in the future.

    • Amazing – what a very small world we live in. So nice to connect with you. I look forward to seeing your around wordpress! And sorry to read about the sea sickness, I’m sure that was no fun. :O(

  2. I grew up taking trips up the coast and passing through Morro Bay! I love that area–such a great place! It’s been about 3 yrs since I was there last, coming down the coast from San Simeon. Next time I’m there I will let you know! Great pics! An interesting side note, growing up I was so fascinated with Morro Rock that I never even noticed there were boats in the water! 🙂

    • Hi Bill, thanks for stopping by. It’s not possible and any attempt would be very dangerous. The Coast Guard keeps a very close watch on the area.

  3. BD I’m so proud of you! You’re taking great photos and learning fast! Good for you dear! 🙂

    • Thank you my dear friend H.J.! Always good to hear from you. :O) If you’re ever in my neck of the woods give me a shout out and we’ll have some fresh fish and go on a shoot.

      • Thank you for the tempting offer. I haven’t been in CA in a few years. I enjoyed it several times in my life! 🙂
