I’ve been playing around with Adobe Lightroom – a wonderful program, I really like it. A tool I might choose to use as part of my arsenal in the artistic photographic process. In doing so I realized the ‘development’ of photos is quite an art in and of itself – just as much so as is ‘capturing’ that perfect image through a lens.
Reminds me of the great Alfred Stieglitz , a seminal influence in the art of photography and in ‘the arts’ in general during the first decade of our century. Through his photography he was able to change the way many see and experience their world. He made a lasting change on the world of art and opened the way for many a photographer to take their seat at the ‘Artist’s Table’.
Alfred’s wife, Georgia O’Keeffe was no small influence in the world of art. As most of America is all to familiar with her work at Ghost Ranch. Alfred loved to photograph Georgia. Below is some of his work from the early 1920’s – one word – Brilliant!
