Who’s Beedie?

Beedie SavageI’m a retired Alcohol and Drug Counselor and the founder of Quantum Units Continuing Education an online corporation providing Mental Health and Substance Abuse courses to professionals required to renew their licenses and credentials.

I started ‘Mind‘ as an amateur photographer to share my photography of nature and the magnificent wildlife that surrounds me in its natural environment while living on the Central Coast of California.

For me, Photography is a pure Zen activity. Peaceful and Spiritual. When I’m out  in nature, with my camera, I feel at one with all living beings and that my friend is as it should be.

All photos taken are mine and done so in their natural environment. I honor and respect the habitat of the magnificent wildlife and nature that I live in and which I am  able to share with you.

Thank you for stopping by.

  1. Thanks for reblogging my post and your likes and comments. I thought you might find it curious that when not blogging, birdiing, looking at wildflowers, doing photography and hiking., I am a therapist in private practice with a substance abuse specialty.

    • Thank you Walter for stopping by :O) I’m an amateur photographer but I do LOVE birds and photography – a good combination! I’ll be checking out your blog from time to time. Enjoy your retirement.

  3. I am currently a substance abuse and mental health counselor. I am going to check out your link to Quantum Units Continuing Education. It sounds interesting. I am glad you ‘liked’ my blog so I could find you…I am enjoying your blog. :)
