As I was taking a walk around the bay I noticed a couple of Turkey Vultures having a feast. They didn’t appear to be too intimidated by onlookers. As always, click to enlarge the image and enjoy further.
Thank you Gracie. Yea, I wouldn’t want to go up to one but then I think they’d fly away from a human. They are big and ugly but I think mainly interested in their food. They do our environment a big favor by keeping it cleaned up. :O)
Thank you H.J. – is that so? I was wondering because all of the other bay birds took off when they landed. Even the ‘bully’ crows wanted nothing to do with these guys. They’re huge!

Nice shots! They’re not intimidated because they have no animal that can threaten them, besides the Condor in CA.

Exactly! Animals know when they have no predators themselves, therefore they have no fear!
